Baking

Hello to all of my baking clients! 

I am very excited to tell you that I will be expanding to a commercial location in the months to come.  I plan to open a business in downtown Waynesboro called Burke Perk Bake Shop & Bistro (a.k.a. Burke Perk).  The business will be a full-service bakery (everything I currently offer plus much more) and a deli.  I anticipate opening in early fall.  In the meantime, I will continue to bake on an order-only basis; however, I will be very busy planning and renovating the building.  I will not be able to take as many last minute orders, so book in advance, especially for large orders and cakes!  I have been taking orders as far in advance as next summer, so you can't book too early.  Your interest and loyalty have made it possible for me to expand, so I hope to keep your continued support in this upcoming endeavor.  Thank you so much!

About Me...

My name is Sarah-Ann Kelly, and I am a professional baker and pastry chef located in Waynesboro, Georgia.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Consumer Foods from the University of Georgia, and I have an Associate's degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University.  I have certification from the ACF as a Certified Pastry Culinarian.

Baking is my passion, and I love making great-tasting food that looks amazing.  I make a large variety of products like wedding cakes, birthday cakes, layer cakes, breads, pastries, and desserts.  Browse through the tabs on the right side of the page to see a detailed list of products and prices. 

All of my products are made fresh to order and are never frozen.  I have a background in nutrition and am happy to alter ingredients or methods to suit your needs, so please let me know if you have any food allergies. 

I package and hand deliver all of my products to ensure that you get the best baked goods possible.  I work in Waynesboro, but I will deliver to any surrounding area.  I am also willing to travel further for special event cakes that require set-up.
